Ortotipographic correction focuses on the grammatical, orthographic, and typographic aspects of the text. The proofreader ensures that there are no punctuation errors, spelling mistakes, issues with verb or noun agreement, and that the text follows the appropriate rules for accentuation and capitalization. Additionally, the format and typography are reviewed to ensure a visually correct and coherent presentation.
On the other hand, style correction centers around enhancing the literary and stylistic quality of the text. The style proofreader evaluates sentence structure, word choice, clarity of expression, and overall coherence of the message. Changes are made to improve the flow, cohesion, and readability of the text, ensuring that the author's style and voice are maintained consistently.

We can do a sample test. You can send me a page from the book, and that way, you can see how I work and the type of edits I make. If you decide to hire me, you can send the complete text in Word format via email or another agreed-upon method. This is just the beginning.
The time required to have your book corrected will depend on the length of the work and the proofreading service you hire. A novel with 50,000 words could easily take a month for reading and work. However, communication and progress updates will be frequent throughout the process.

Un texto bien escrito y editado da lustre al escritor. Una obra publicada con errores podría generar arrepentimientos en el futuro, algo que no siempre se puede remediar. Si vas a publicar un libro, haz al menos una corrección ortográfica.
